During an interview in Lalantop, she revealed that during her study in the second year, a shared brand contacted her but the brand rejected her and they rejected her because she is too young for that brand. The brand also says that they want someone who has to look like a woman.

Her upcoming movie is 'Dunki' and the director is Rajkumar Hirani. In this movie, she played Shahrukh Khan. She also told the interviewer she is very excited about the movie. Taapsee also told that the combination of Rajkumar Hirani and Shahrukh Khan is very interesting and if they told her to do a small role like a tree in the background that would be also an interesting role for her and she would not reject that.
