Pushpa 2 manages to beat RRR
In India, it was expected that Pushpa 2: The Rule will do major box office business and it did! The film helmed by Sukumar released in languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Bengali. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the film did bumper business at the box office. Pushpa 2: The Rule also performed really well globally. Going by the latest reports, the movie has turned out to be the biggest Indian opener film with its worldwide collection. Earlier, the throne was owned by SS Rajamouli's film RRR that starred Jr NTR and Ram Charan in key roles. However, RRR has now been dethroned by Pushpa 2. Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan has shared a detailed report of Pushpa 2's worldwide collection. The film is said to have done a business of Rs 68.15 in overseas market. The total collection of the film as per the analyst now stands at Rs 282.92 crore. That is HUGE! The numbers are almost touching Rs 300 crore and that too just one the first day of the film's release.

It is an enormous achievement because the movie released on a Thursday. It was a non-holiday but that did not stop the fans from gushing toward the theatres.
Sadly, a tragedy also took place as a stampede like situation took place at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre when Allu Arjun appeared at the theatre. One woman lost her life while her son had to be rushed to the hospital. A case has now been filed against actor Allu Arjun, the theatre owners, and others.
